The above rates are based on a 2 person occupancy, to add a third person please contact us for rates or any other questions. A 30% deposit is required with all bookings. A security deposit of €300 is required, with the balance of payment 8 weeks in advance of the rental period. Rates are based on self-catering. A maid service is available upon request at cost. We are responsible for cleaning the heated swimming pool and for the upkeep of the gardens and outer buildings. The heated salt water pool is open from April until the end of October, weather permitting. We have several chickens and fresh eggs are provided free of charge subject to availability.

“We loved our stay in the butterfly cottage, so much so we have already re-booked for next year.
The private outside space you get to yourselves is amazing, peaceful, relaxing and we struggled to actually want to go out anywhere. The property is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for your stay, even wine in the fridge and fresh eggs from the chickens.
Linda and George are amazing hosts, making you feel welcome straight away, nothing is ever to much for them and they are there if you need them. We also booked Dimitri, I was a bit nervous about having a chef cook for us but he was amazing, very friendly and his food was some of the best I have ever tasted. There are so many lovely places to visit in a 20 minute radius and Linda is happy to advise you on these. So thank-you Linda and George for giving us a beautiful place to look forward to visiting again.

C’est la première fois, et à 60 ans, j’ai pu apprécier quelques locations, que je me retrouve dans une atmosphère aussi Cosy. Britannique il faut préciser et ceci explique. Le gite est décoré comme un sweet home et tout est prévu : des serviettes douces, d’autres pour la piscine avec des peignoirs, du détail dans les ustensiles de cuisine pour s’y installer, du bois pour le poêle, des produits bio et les œufs des poules. Malgré la pluie incessante, nous avons passé un excellent week-end. Un grand merci à nos hôtes.!

“Our 11th year staying at Les Hirondelles!! This is a fabulous oasis of calm and tranquility with superb and luxurious facilities. Andy and Uliana have taken over ownership and have maintained and surpassed the previous exceptionally high standards. WiFi is now available throughout the property (even down by the pool, which is kept spotlessly clean and heated to a sublime temperature). The hot tub is similarly spotless and heated and now has water spouts that just add to your complete sense of rest and relaxation whilst gazing out over the lush Dordogne countryside. We enjoyed another superb meal from Dimitri, the resident chef and we were able to pick delicious fresh figs from the tree in the courtyard. We can not recommend Les Hirondelles highly enough.”

“It is hard to know where to start as the experience was amazing. Linda and George not only maintain a beautiful and comfortable spot, they ensure their guests get what they need from the experience.
The rooms are incredibly comfortable – I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while.
When we arrived we were greeted by the warmth and friendliness of Linda. It was my sister’s birthday and since we arrived later and have limited French skills, Linda recommended a nice restaurant and made a reservation for us. The next day we drove into the village and fetched croissants that were still warm. Then, Linda helped us plan our day, making excellent suggestions for activities that suit our range of ages (7-year old child to 76-year old grandparent).
We didn’t want to leave the cozy house and are returning with friends in Spring.”
